EUSR Energy & Utility Skills Register
Recognised training standards for the utility sector covering gas, power, water, waste management, and telecommunications industries.
About EUSR Training
EUSR is an independent skills register that sets recognised training and competence standards for the utilities sector. It is operated by Energy & Utility Skills, the sector skills body representing the gas, power, water, and waste management industries.
EUSR training schemes are designed in collaboration with industry to support employers, improve workforce competence, and promote consistent standards across the sector. When an individual successfully completes training and assessment, the achievement is recorded as an endorsement on their EUSR registration.
EUSR cards can also be CSCS embossed, allowing workers to carry a single, widely recognised card for site access — similar in approach to NPORS. For employers, EUSR provides a reliable way to verify training and competence across a mobile workforce. For individuals, it offers a portable and nationally recognised record of achievement that remains with them as they move between roles, companies, or sectors.
