CSCS Green Card
Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment. The essential qualification for obtaining your CSCS Green Labourer Card and gaining access to construction sites across the UK.
Level 1 Award in Health & Safety in a Construction Environment
The Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in a Construction Environment is a nationally recognised qualification designed for anyone looking to work on a construction site. This one-day course provides delegates with the core knowledge of health, safety, and welfare practices needed to work safely in the construction industry.
Upon successful completion, delegates can apply for the CSCS Green Labourer Card, which is the industry-standard proof of competence required by most construction employers and principal contractors for site access. The CSCS card scheme is managed by the Construction Skills Certification Scheme and is widely recognised across the UK.
This qualification replaces the previously used CSCS Health & Safety Test as the entry requirement for the Green Card. It provides a more thorough grounding in construction safety and is assessed through a multiple-choice examination at the end of the course.
