Confined Spaces Training

Comprehensive confined space training for operatives working in and around hazardous enclosed environments. From awareness courses to City & Guilds accredited qualifications.

About Confined Space Training

The Health & Safety Executive defines a confined space as any place which is substantially enclosed (though not always entirely), and where serious injury could occur from hazardous substances or conditions within the space or nearby, such as lack of oxygen.

Our courses provide the necessary skills and knowledge for delegates to perform their duties in line with current legislative requirements, with a view to safeguarding themselves and others around them. All training is delivered by experienced, qualified instructors.

We cover the full length and breadth of the UK with the option of delivering training on-site, reducing downtime and aiding productivity as candidates are not having to travel for training and assessment purposes.

Key Confined Space Hazards

  • Toxic gas, fume or vapour
  • Lack of oxygen or oxygen enrichment
  • Flooding or ingress of liquids
  • Excessive heat or temperature extremes
  • Entrapment or engulfment by free-flowing solids
  • Fire or explosion from flammable atmospheres
